5 Halloween Activities for Dash, Dot, & Cue

Oct 18, 2018

Something WONDER-fully Wicked, This Way Comes

It’s coming up on October 31st … one of the sweetest holidays of all: Halloween! And Dash, Dot, and Cue are ready to join in on the fun with you. Boo! Can you find Dash in Shelly Dunn’s photo below?

We are continually impressed with kids’ and teachers’ frighteningly clever ideas for holiday fun. Check out some of these activities and posts that you and your kids can enjoy leading up to Halloween.

Host a costume parade! Create a runway for the robots to dance down in their most creative costumes.

Take the robots trick-or-treating throughout a “town.” Create a painter’s tape grid and set locations of houses to visit, and program Dash or Cue to say a Halloween greeting: “Trick or treat, smell my feet …”

Create a boo-tiful shape for Dash or Cue to follow.

Create a DIY attachment or use the Bulldozer attachment to have Dash or Cue sort candy by type, flavor, size, or color, and then graph the results.

Incorporate your robots into your Halloween decor!

What else can your kids dream up with our robots? Maybe a candy toss into plastic jack-o-lanterns or a haunted robot house? Could you create an original halloween score using the Xylophone? What Halloween image could you program Dash or Cue to draw using Sketch Kit? Show us your Wonder-fully wicked ideas!
